Every girl and boy dreams sometimes of running away from home. But stalking these runaways are pimps looking for young bodies to sell.

In the documentary play, BODY & SOLD, winner of a Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist’s Award, we hear the stories of eight teen survivors and the stark realities in five US cities.

On June 9, 2016, 4:30 pm, and June 11, at 7:30 pm Tempest Productions presents a new production of this riveting play at Hibernian Hall in Roxbury.  Jacqui Parker directs. Learn about this American epidemic — and what you can do to stop the abuse and exploitation of our young people.

Discussion follows the reading with playwright, Deborah Lake Fortson, Mia Avarado, Director of Roxbury Youthworks,  James Pierre, of Catholic Charities, and representaties of law enforcerment.

COME BRAINSTORM WITH US about how we can stop the commercial sexual exploitation of our youth!
